Primarily, we covet that Sorrow be extinct
like the prehistoric dinosaur; dead and gone,
vanished, never to return to perturb us again.
Yet, our primal selves or primeval minds
remain prime hosts to this primordial animal,
ever haunting us in our primitive state.
